Creating your own Cutting Garden - August/Sept dates
Please join us for a day's course to begin your cut flower garden journey. We will enjoy a day of talking flowers and learning how to create your very own cutting garden.
Course dates - Wednesday 11th August and Saturday 14th August
This is not for flower farmer's but those individuals who are now going to take on the ultimate dream - growing your own and being able to pick from your own flower beds. We ran our first course last year and it was a huge success but we squeezed it into 2 hours and quite simply - had to rush so this year we've allowed time.
We will tackle subjects as layout, soil condition, irrigation, no dig culture, seeds, bulbs, tubers and plants. We will talk about everything and give time to your individual questions too.
Suitable clothes for the day's weather are required.
We are pleased to be introducing our capsule collection of annual seeds so these will be available to purchase too - so you can grow what we recommend!
Please join us from 10am until 3pm, two course lunch will be provided in the restaurant for the group.
We will be socially distanced throughout the day and masks should be worn when indoors. The tipi is open air and allows for great ventalation but does mean it is slightly cooler.
We will be based in our workshop area of the Tipi so please wear appropriate outdoor clothes and layers - the tipi warms up well in sunshine but is cooler in cold rain.
Should the return to education be further postponed, this workshop will be delayed and a refund offered or date rescheduled.
Antibac hand gel will be provided at all aspects throughout the day.
You may cancel up to 14 days prior to the workshop and full money will be returned.
Should you issue notice to cancel within 14 days of the workshop - if we are unable to resell your place, I'm afraid no refund will be issued.
